Lens:
f11, c. 5 ½" landscape, iris diaphragm with external pointer to f44.

Shutter:
Rotary sector, 3 speeds and T. Spring powered, finger release, fits on front of lens.

Construction:
Polished mahogany with brass fittings, black square cornered tapered leather bellows. Finger joints.

Format:
3 ¼" x 4 ¼" plates held in double dark-slides.

Focusing:
Bellows to 32". Double extension, rack and pinion movement to inner frame.

Attributes:
: Reversing back. Turntable. Plumb bob.

Movements:
Rising front, tilting back.

With:
4 dark slides. Box.

This is a very well-made camera of simple specification, it is very similar to the MB No. 2 from Marlow Brothers of Birmingham. Marlow made largely for the trade which may account for this camera not carrying a name plaque.
