Introduced around 1935 as a replacement for Superpan and originally rated at 19 or 20 DIN, around 1937 this was increased to 21 DIN. For correct rendering a pale yellow filter was required in daylight and a pale green in half-watt illumination. Available as 35 mm, roll-film, 16 mm cine and film packs.

This film has a paper leader and trailer similar to 220 size roll-film, it is not re-wound. The spool is marked "For Contax, Peggy and Rolleikin. Not for Leica".
