Very similar cameras were sold by, amongst others, Hare, Meagher, Watson and Perken. They have a specification of single extension, rise and cross front ('Double action front') and side support. A swing back may be included and the bellows are of leather or cloth. The price was around 5 without lens.

This and another similar example have cloth bellows, the wood is not fully polished in order to keep the price down. There are minor differences between the two and on this example there is a serial number stamped on the body and slide. It is possible that LSC bought in the camera perhaps in an un-finished state from different makers for assembly and finishing by themselves.
