This camera from Stanley was advertised for only a short period and did not prove a success. It is built around a conventional tailboard body. A dark cloth is permanently attached to the front standard which covers the camera when making an exposure. At the rear is a magnifying lens held in a board with a silk bag extending between the board and the focusing screen. The board hinges to lie flat on the baseboard when not in use. The board is 7" from the screen. When the screen is removed (with the silk bag attached) it slots onto the baseboard next to the magnifier. The permanently attached magnifier results in a cumbersome camera having 10" of baseboard extending to the rear of the focusing screen.
