Construction:
Leather covered mahogany body, black leather bellows with diagonal corners.

Format:
3 ¼" x 4 ¼" plates held in double dark-slides.

Focusing:
Bellows. Double extension with additional extension by using the front panel struts.

Attributes:
Adams brilliant view-finder. Spirit level. Reversing back. Removable lens panel. Wide-angle flap. Infinity catch.

Identification:
Later type struts. Diagonal cornered bellows. Type 3 front standard lock. Type 3 infinity catch. Early type front standard bolts. Single piece of brass on extension slide. Sliding plate to retain lens panel. Rack and pinion rising front with locking wheel. Type 2 wide-angle rack. Type 2 back catch. "Patents" (upright script) on side strut. Type 5 name plaque.
