With:
Leitz Periplan Ok 10x eye-piece. Single metal slide by Ica. Long cable release for beam splitter. Short cable release with lock for shutter by AGC. Automatic Release (CALOS). Leitz red box.

These microscope cameras were normally used with the Periplan microscope eye-piece. Above this is a beam splitter diverting light to a telescope eye-piece fitted with a cross hair. The beam splitter is hinged, a cable release moving it out of the light path at the time of exposure. Above the beam splitter is the shutter. Next is an image forming lens consisting of a positive meniscus near the shutter separated from a plano-concave element. The Automatic Release jointly operated the two cable releases.

The camera is marked x1, that is, the image magnification at the plate is as calculated for the microscope. The price was around £14.14.0 in 1930. Later models were fitted with an Ibsor shutter.

The Makam and smaller Macca, for 4.5 x 6 cm plates, used parts interchangeable with the later models of the Milfilmca and Mikas. The Mikam is similar to the later Makam.

Code Names:
726/6 - slide. CALOS - Automatic Release.
