The camera, as the name implies, was aimed at children though it was emphasized that it was not a toy. The camera was accompanied by a magazine the 'Little Nipper Times' that provided tips on taking photographs and ran competitions. As well as developing a niche market it was probably hoped that many of the users would continue their interest in photography and purchase higher specification cameras. The camera sold for 5/6, for a similar amount a Developing and Printing outfit could be purchased containing plates, paper, dark-room lamp, printing frame, glass measure, two dishes, packet of developer, packet of fixer, album and a stirring rod. All of these items could be purchased individually. A Post-card Printer was also available at 5/6. Additional plate holders were 6d and six plates also cost 6d. A carrying case was priced at 1/6.

The plate holders are made of thick card with metal draw slides.
