This camera is very similar to the Little Nipper that appeared on the British market a few years earlier, it is of German origin. It was shown in the 1904 Photographic Dealer as being a new model it was then named the Little Jap and priced at 3/-, inside the back door of this example is the name Little Pilot and a price of 4/6. After the initial introduction of the camera it must have been moved into the pilot brand.
