The camera was advertised and reviewed in the 1954 British Journal Almanac (this would have gone to press in late 1953), however, the review states that the retail price had not yet been fixed. The camera, then, was not placed on the market until 1954.

The battery compartment is next to the film spool and is accessed with the back removed. A diffuser was available to fit onto the reflector. A small plug on the top of the camera is removed to insert the flash bulb.
