The Vanity Kodak was based on the Vest Pocket Kodak Series III body but had a luxury finish of coloured leather together with a distinctive clam-shell case. Advertisements carried the strapline "The Modern Camera For The Modern Girl". The camera was produced in a range of colours: Redbreast (red), Bluebird (blue), Cockatoo (green/turquoise), Sea Gull (grey) and Jenny Wren (brown). The colouring included the calf-leather body covering, metal work and bellows, the silk-lined clam-shell case and box also matched the colour of the camera. The body finish has an unusual silky grain. The price was £8.8.0.
