Agfa produced several cameras under the Standard name, both plate and roll-film models. The example shown here is very rugged and well-finished. A notable feature, and subject of the patent, is the helical focusing where the lens and shutter move within the front standard. The price was £4.17.6.

Brilliant view-finder, frame finder. Split-image rangefinder.
Film advance indicated by red window, not coupled to shutter.

Serial Number:
CZ287 .

The rangefinder is unusual in having just a single window, the eye-piece is set around 52 mm above the entry window which aligns with the lens. The eye is placed at the edge of the eye-piece so that the scene is viewed both directly and through the rangefinder giving a split-image.
