Hooded focusing screen. This is a well-made tropical model in the HEAG range of folding cameras from Ernemann. The front standard is very square giving an old-fashioned look to the camera. Typical Ernemann features are incorporated such as the folding eye-level finder and cross-shaped focusing hood. The focusing hood is a deep leather rectangle giving very good light exclusion, it is pulled away from the focusing screen and held rigid by two flaps. The whole hood can be removed when using a dark cloth or for cleaning. Discontinued soon after the Zeiss merger of 1926.
