The No. 2 Hawkette was made for premium sales only and assembled at the Harrow factory. There are two versions of the camera, the example shown here is the earlier of the two and has a deep cone leading from the camera front to the shutter area with many narrow ridges. On the second version the cone is shallower. On the first version a small piece of the cone is always removed to allow the shutter to pass, it appears that this is a design fault as the removed piece is roughly broken off rather than being part of the moulding or machined after casting.
