Although this camera was on sale for over 10 years it could not have proved popular as few are seen today. It was brought out just before World War I and billed as the press camera of the future. It folded into a small space and was quick to erect. In form it is virtually an Ensign Folding Reflex model D with the hood and the mirror/screen removed. Two sizes were listed 9 x 12 cm and quarter-plate. Several lenses were listed as available prior to the war. The price in 1914 was £13.15.0. Earlier models possibly had a lowest shutter speed of 1/10 rather than 1/15.
