Compound, speeds 1 - 1/250, B, T. 11 o'clock release.

Construction:
Leather covered body, leather bellows.

Format:
2 ½" x 3 ½" exposures on plates.

Focusing:
Front-cell to 3 yards.

Attributes:
Frame finder.

Movements:
Rise and cross front.

Notes:
Address on film pack: 57 - 61 Clerkenwell Rd. London. E.C. (1905 - 1911). Marked Eastman Kodak Co successor to Rochester Optical Co (after 1907).

Shew film pack adapter with Premo film pack. Watson cable release. Case.

The Euxit was a variation of Shew's Xit range of strut cameras. Primarily offered as a 'vest pocket camera' in the 2 ½" x 3 ½" size but also available in 3 ¼" x 4 ¼". The finder was either a simple frame type with a rear pointer or an eye-level lens/pointer type. The shutter always seems to have been a Compound fitted with either a focusing Cooke, Tessar or Dagor lens. The finish was either polished wood or leather covered.
