For six plates approximately 3 " x 2 ".

The trough is made of paper mache or something similar and heavily varnished. Early models were produced in sizes of quarter-plate to whole-plate, later smaller sizes for the Tit-Bit and Frena Memo-size cameras were added. A similar model was made in porcelain.
