Reflex viewing through taking lens. Stevens' patent ground glass focusing screen with combined condenser. Eye-level frame finder.Mirror pulled down by spring, raised by finger pressure without tripping. Mirror drops when pressure is removed. Mirror can be locked in the up position.
Reversing back. Quick change arrangement to the dark slides.

Rear focusing screen.The Rubyette was one of the last reflex models from T-P, the small plate size has resulted in a camera a good deal smaller than traditional models. The sports finder superficially resembles those fitted to the Rolleiflex but it is a simple finder without the mirror of the Rolleiflex.
Three versions were made:
- No. 1 - For 2 ½" x 3 ½" plates, fixed format.
- No. 2 - For 2 ½" x 3 ½" plates, with revolving back.
- No. 3 - For 3 ¼" x 3 ¼" or 2 ½" x 3 ½" plates, with reversing back.
