Lens:
f7, c. 14 cm, C. Berthiot No. 1 Extra Rapid Eurygraphe, iris diaphragm to 32. The diaphragm is scaled in Congress values , 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, 32. Serial no. 24831 .

Shutter:
Focal-plane, speeds 0 - 12 (tension) and with slit adjustment. B setting. Catch to keep blind open for focusing. Opening adjusted from inside camera.

Construction:
Polished Walnut with brass fittings.

Format:
12, 9 x 12 cm plates held in removable changing box. Push-pull type.

Focusing:
Rack and pinion adjustment on lens to 2 metre. The scale is marked on the pinion handle.

Attributes:
Reflex viewing through taking lens. Full-size ground glass screen.
Exposure counter.

Movements:
Rise and cross front.

Serial Number:
34 , Changing box: 12.

Notes:

Several variations of the Spiegel Reflex exist. Some, unlike this example, have bellows focusing, others have nickel fittings and shutter controls.
