100, 30 x 44 mm exposures on un-perforated 35 mm film with paper backing.

The lens/shutter has to be extended on its helical focusing mount to the infinity position, the front of the frame finder rises as the lens is wound out and lowers when the lens is retracted.

The Eka came out around the time of the Leica in 1925. It used un-perforated 35 mm film and so took larger images than the Leica. A measuring wheel locks when the film has been sufficiently advanced, to unlock the wheel a small catch is moved, which also advances the frame counter.

A metal block pulls out from the base of the camera providing a tripod socket for vertical or horizontal exposures. Some (? early) versions have a bright metal lens panel.
