Construction:
Wood and metal body covered in leather, black leather bellows.

Format:
3 ¼" x 5 ½" exposures on Ensign 3 ¼A roll-film.

Focusing:
Bellows scale to 5 feet.

Attributes:
Brilliant view-finder, swivels for portrait or landscape. Spirit level.
Film advance indicated by red window. Not coupled to shutter. The focusing scale adjusts for film or plate use.

Movements:
Rise and cross front.

Case.

The Regular Ensign was available in 3 ¼ and 3 ¼A sizes for 3 ¼" x 4 ¼" and 3 ¼" x 5 ½" exposures. The back of the camera was adapted to take dark slides.
