This was the simplest of the Ensign range of folding hand cameras, the shutter on this example dates the camera to around the 1926, after the full merger between Houghton and Butcher the camera was dropped from the catalogue.

This camera was probably made by Houghton-Butcher Mfg. for sale under a retailer's own name. Apart from the position of the finder it the same as the previous entry.
