Lens:
f6.5, 5.1" Focusing Cooke, iris diaphragm to f45. Serial no. 11461 .

Shutter:
Ilex, Double Guillotine, spring powered, pneumatic delay, speeds 1/90, 1/50, 1/25, T.

Construction:
Polished mahogany body with brass binding and fittings.

Format:
12, 3 ¼" x 4 ¼" plates held in internal falling plate mechanism.

Focusing:
Front of lens type to 3 feet.

Attributes:
Two brilliant view-finders. Spirit level. Exposure counter. The door at the front of the camera opens to change the shutter speed, set the aperture and focus. A door in the base opens to remove the plates.

With:
3 plate holders. Leather case.

The polished mahogany model of the Jackson falling plate camera appeared in 1902.
