The radio is a four tube superheterodyne. Frequency range 540 - 1600 Kilocycles. The tubes are: IR5, IT4, IS5, 3Q4. Battery powered.

This is a portable valve radio with a built-in camera accessed by a flap which folds down to reveal the lens. The box for this camera has 'brown' stamped on it so other colours were produced.
