Ferro Prussiate Paper

Packet of 25, 6 ½" x 4 ¾" papers. Instructions.

The paper is deeply printed then placed in cold water until it is brilliant blue and the, fresh, water is colourless. Hydrochloric acid could be used to enhance the colour.

Introduced around 1912. The paper produced dark tones when processed normally in hypo, light brown tones were produced by washing the print for 5 minutes prior to fixing. For cold tones the print was immersed in salt water before fixing.
