This is a small, compact, roll-film holder for fitting to folding plate or reflex cameras. It was made to take 2 ½" or 3 ¼" spools. Fittings for most cameras were available. Later models had a dual format 8 or 16-on facility.

The Rollex trade name was used after the war by Linhof.
